Our Story
La'van swimwear was born in Los Angeles, California where two best friends, Shani and Sharon,
were seeking to create a modest feminine resort line. They filled a gap in the modest swimwear
industry by bringing a sophisticated and chic branded look.

With hard work and dedication they developed a beautiful line that represented what they
wanted to bring to the community.

These two 'visionaries' had enough of the current market standards and wanted to take it a few
steps further which resulted in a line that would flatter numerous body types and make all different types
of women feel confident yet modest when swimming or heading to the beach.

La'van is proud to be a female founded Mommy & Me brand. We offer comfort and
uniqueness to both women and young girls.

At La’van we have sourced the highest quality fabrics.
The swimsuits are made from lightweight, fast dry, and UV protective fabrics. Every detail of our collection has been thought out and created to be a top tier brand for modest swimwear. A few aspects of our collection that indicate the high quality of work are: The double lining that ensures no transparency (even when wet). Also, the inner lining is made out of a body shaping material. The pattern of each bathing suit has been thought out and created to flatter the body. We also picked out colors and prints that express our elegant, sophisticated and chic tone.
